Collograph Printing - texture in print

Two Day Workshop

Course dates: Saturday 11th & 18th June 10am – 4pm

In this workshop participants will learn to prepare collages and use them to create prints. We will cover the use of 'liquid' materials for example pva glue and various fillers. Material can also be added to the plate which can be cut out and glued down for example string, tissue or textured papers and found objects. The first week is spent making the plates. The following week the collograph plates will be printed using water miscible etching inks on somerset paper. A 30cm wide rolloco press will be used for the printing.

Protective clothing - apron or similar

Sketch book/ ideas for prints

Packed lunch
