Lyndy lives in Berkhamsted and works in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Drawing on minimalism and reductionist movements, Lyndy's predominantly white art-work uses texture and shadow to create images, resulting in pieces that negate the visual, many additionally challenge traditional practice by being 'touchable'. From a distance, the artwork may disappear into the blank wall. 'Seeing' relies on curiosity to draw the viewer closer, revealing shadow and tactile texture, raising questions about perception and the overwhelmingly visual nature of our society.
