My work comes out of the genre of landscape painting but my landscapes are twisted to blend the experience of actual landscapes and landscapes of the mind that embody both wonderment and anxiety.

My landscapes are not of one specific type as their references shift from the edges of romantic utopia to the dark forest as portrayed by film and children’s stories like those from the Brothers Grimm.
